It is much easier to manage a blog than a website so I have created this blog to help us with our affiliates! We have gotten a great response from people like YOU and appreciate your willingness to use our links when doing any online shopping with our affiliates!

All of our affiliates are listed in alphabetical order on the right sidebar. On the left sidebar you will find personal links to our other public websites. There is also a section labeled, "find a post" which is where my posts will be sorted by category (retailer), in case you want to look up something I have written about a specific retailer. When using that section, be sure you don't accidentally try to use an expired coupon link, I will post the effective dates in the post, so be sure to check!

I have used Homestead since the beginning, and I LOVE working with them. It's easy, something you can totally teach yourself, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend them which is why I wanted to become an affiliate.

I read a wonderful blog, called Rocks in my Dryer. She does a weekly post called "Works for me Wednesday," and this week it happens to be focused on the subject of online shopping! Since this whole site is dedicated to online shopping, I thought I would take some time to share about my FAVORITE affiliates and why I love shopping with them!

#1 Christianbook.com Home I LOVE shopping with CBD, their selection of books is absolutely amazing and their prices are wonderful and shipping is very reasonable.
#2 Amazon...Everyone know how wonderful Amazon is, I have recently found a new reason I love Amazon...easy returns.
#3 Shop Office Depot... I never shop for office supplies at the actual store since Office Depot ships for free with orders over $50. I also use their award program so I get awesome coupons and actual money back!
#4 Ebay...I don't buy a lot from Ebay but I do love them. I usually can't keep up with my bids enough and end up getting outbid!!!

And here's a few actual products I LOVE and recommend highly!!!!

#1 Ergo baby/child carrier...we've had one since Ky was about 6 months and now at 21 months it is still great!

#2 Leapfrog DVDs, my son learned letters, letter sounds, vowels and more with these dvd's. I can't say enough wonderful things about them. I was a K teacher and never found anything to work as well as these do!

#3...My fabulous Christmas gift from my parents, I LOVE this thing (and I happen to know they got a great deal at Big Lots and found it for $30!!!)!

Here's the current Office Depot Coupon...I believe it is valid through Feb 2012, so I think you have awhile before it expires! I also have larger coupons for Office Depot (40 off 200 and 45 off 225), if you need them let me know and I will post them. I LOVE Office Depot, orders of $50 or more ship the next day for free in most areas!

I order almost all of my books online, and I know many of my friends do too. With so many great places to choose from online and such great prices, you really can't beat it. I thought I would share with you our affiliates that sell books and the percentage that they each give us.

Christian Book (CBD)...10%
Amazon...6%
Barnes and Noble...5%
Half.com...5%
Books A Million...3%
Overstock... 1%

I personally buy almost all of my Christian books from CBD, although will use Amazon if the prices are better. If I am buying just 1 book I will check out Half.com. I do use Overstock quite a bit too, simply because their 2.95 shipping rate is sometimes better. I search prices at all of those sites before I place an order though, just to check. I have not searched or placed an order at Barnes and Noble or Books A Million, but both seem to have free shipping over $25 so it might be worth looking into if their prices are good!

A few FAQ we've received recently...

Do you mind if I suggest a store to you?
Not at all! It is very easy for me to apply (I am now a member of the big umbrella affiliate companies that are over the individual stores, so it is just a click to apply now). I would love it if you'd email when you shop anywhere online so I can see if it is available for us to apply!

How much commission are you getting and do you have to pay anything?
We get various percentages and dollar amount payouts and no we don't have to pay a thing! Some stores give us 4% or so and some are up to 20% with ebay being at a big whopping 50% of all winning bids and $25 for each new account signed up!!!! Some of them are amazing!

Can I share this with my friends, business, or church?
YES! Pass it on to whoever, the more the merrier! We appreciate you spreading the word!

What about______ type of online place?
I've been asked about photo ordering, travel, clothing, etc. If you order from it, email me the name and I will try! There are teeny companies I have never even heard of, all the way to giants like Walmart!

Can I put stuff in a shopping cart and then log off and go back to order later, will you get the credit?
Yes, as long as you use our links to get into the store when you go to place the final order.

What If I already have items in a shopping cart (or on a wishlist) at one of those stores and now want to place the order through your links, will you get the money?
Yes, as long as you use our link to get in when you actually place the order.

How do I know if you got the credit for my sale?
You won't know, unless you tell me about the sale and have me login the next business day AFTER it has shipped. I can run reports whenever I want and can look for specific sales. They post the day after an item ships. If you are curious, please feel free to email me with the total amount (before tax and shipping) and which store and I will check and let you know!
